Social
media is a really exciting sector - it's something you cannot
afford to ignore, and we can help ensure your company is making
the most of it.
Networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter
can be extremely effective in raising your company's profile,
and giving you access to a constantly-updating news medium.
Social media could prove
the ideal platform for building an audience for your company's
products or services, and gives you instant rapport with your
customers.
So why aren't you part of it? Or maybe you are,
but feel you could be doing more.
With the help of one of our social media and
marketing apprentices, you can make full use of online networking.
Our Apprenticeships
Apprentices need to be
employed by your business, and whilst there's no minimum contract
period, we want to place apprentices with companies on a train-and-stay
basis, and aim to provide them with sustainable employment.
They must be employed for
at least 30 hours per week at a minimum hourly rate of £2.60,
which is £107 per week for full-time employees working
37 hours.
We encourage employers to review the performance
of their apprentices on a quarterly basis, when their salaries
can also be reassessed, based on the benefits the apprentice
is bringing to your business.
During the first 12 months, apprentices will
attend on-going training with SSC for one day per month. We
encourage them to bring along information about projects they
are working on for you, which we can offer advice and support
to help them develop.
Apprentices will also receive on-site visits
from our assessors at least once a month and after 12 months,
they will have achieved a Level 3 NVQ qualification.
