Intelligent content planning: Before we begin to even contemplate the design or structure of any Website we carefully address the issue of how the content will be suitably organised and eventually presented online. Original custom design & build: The overall design of this site embodies a minimal colour scheme which helps to enhance the impact of any of the high colour images and also achieve the desired clean look and feel. As with all of our work, this site was painstakingly custom crafted from the ground up to encompass our clients every need. Custom graphics and artwork: Various original key graphics & images were created for this Website. Logo design: The unique Picture-to-Print logo was developed over several key stages with our clients review. As well as being contemporary and eye-catching, the logo subtly encompasses the four main characteristics of the company's specialised field: Vision (overall eye form), Camera (mechanical iris surround), Pixel Resolution (varying size dots), & finally the picture to print process, as indicated by the arrow formation. Stock imagery: Where appropriate professional stock imagery was carefully selected then skilfully manipulated to excellent effect.

Custom scripting & programming: All of our Websites utilise in-house original custom written scripting / programming making everything work smoothly behind the scenes. This site includes the follow features:

Price Calculator: We created a price calculator so that customers can instantly see how much a product will cost them including postage etc. This feature is used to significant effect within the Pricing Information page, and also as an integral component of the product ordering page.

Automated order form / image uploading: We created an easy to use, (but also rather sophisticated), online ordering system for this site. Most crucially, the system we created allows customers to upload their images directly to the Picture-to-Print team, ready for their pre-press team. Using a custom built Content Management System (CMS), the Picture-to-Print team are able to securely retrieve clients order details and also image files directly from the sites integral database. This innovative feature removes the need for clients to post their image files on disk, or use insecure / slow e-mail.

The site also includes a friendly automated enquiry form: When the form is completed, its contents are immediately sent to the Picture to Print team, whilst an automated "thank you" response is also courteously sent out to the enquirers email address. Our enquiry form feature also incorporates various sophisticated anti-spam filters.

Custom created Flash™ animation: First impression count, so a fast loading Flash animation was created for the sites opening page, and used to immediately grab the visitors attention.

Our unique animation begins by drawing a room scene in a 'diagrammatical' style & then demonstrates how a canvas print can bring life, warmth & vibrancy to the room. The alternating images used on the hanging picture summarise the most popular genres of photographs that clients usually require printing onto canvas, such as portraits, pets, landscapes, silhouettes, holidays & weddings.

In the "want it now!" world of the Web, few surfers are willing to wait whilst a Flash feature loads. Accordingly we are always mindful to create FAST loading and efficiently designed Flash features, ensuring the greatest experience for all Web surfers.

Accessibility testing: As with all of our Website's, we robustly tested this site at various key development stages making certain that it would be fully compatible with all popular Web browser packages, (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, & Netscape Navigator for example).

Ensuring the widest available audience: We understand that not all Web surfers use the same Web browser packages, screen resolution or technology, meaning that many poorly written sites cannot be properly viewed by large clusters of Web surfers. With this in mind we take great care to ensure that anything we place on the World Wide Web can be properly accessed and viewed by the widest available audience.
