Ofsted
update: We were extremely proud to be awarded
an overall rating of "2 / Good" following
the school's latest successful Ofsted inspection
(24/04/2007).

report]

The school is attractively situated at the edge
of the village, enjoying open views of the surrounding
countryside.
The school has a large playing field, two playground
areas and a play area for Reception Class and
Key Stage 1. These offer ample opportunity for
the children to enjoy playtime breaks and experience
a wide range of games and activities.
The main entrance can be reached through the
main gates to the school. First contact can then
be made through the school office. A security
system is in operation which restricts access
from the foyer to the remainder of the school.

Uniform
At The Croft School we believe that a smart and
distinctive school uniform will help to develop
a pride and sense of loyalty to the school. The
Governors of the school have stated that all Croft
School pupils should wear a sweatshirt or cardigan
with the school logo. This helps identification
on school visits and promotes a good school ethos.
The sweatshirt or cardigan can be purchased from
'Buxton and Bonnett', Lichfield or, 'Uniform Plus'
in Lichfield & Rugeley. These suppliers also
stock the Croft School royal blue fleece, which
is very useful for the children when playing outside
on the playground. All other items of uniform
listed below can be purchased from any outlet
you choose, as we realise the considerable cost
involved in buying school uniform.

Our basic colours
are Royal Blue and Grey or Black
Shoes - Black and have an appropriate school
design and style. (High heels and trainers should
not be worn as school shoes)
Children should not attend school in open toed
sandals for safety reasons.
