2010: July - "South Africa Days" - Each year we celebrate and study another country and their culture, we call these our "international days". This year we chose South Africa because of the world cup. Activities included: Gum boots dance, singing traditional songs, studying the country, looking at world cup mascots, making footballs from recycled materials just like they do in south Africa, a range of south African art work, drama using a traditional story, using the internet for research and making posters and looking at African artefacts.
