 The
Parents, Teachers and Friends Association
St.James PTFA hold fundraising and social events that are
advertised through the school. In particular there is an annual
school fete held in conjunction with the parish church. The
school newsletter also keeps parents informed of events and
other matters involving the school and children. All parents
are welcome to become part of the PTFA group.
Fund raising events organised by the
PTFA can be found on the special events page.
What does a PTFA do?
- PTFA's raise funds to help school provide "extras"
for the pupils.

- Most PTFA's run social events for parents and children.

- Many provide helpers for outings and special events.

- A large number run clubs for sport, music or drama.

- Organise meetings to inform parents about educational
issues, especially when changes are taking place.
